"A photo of a few of Robert Mercy's special ROK troops dressed in civilian-whites [as Mercy was too] for a night patrol they ran to plant two Korean CIA agents behind the Chinese Mainline of Resistance just prior to their New Year’s offensive [1950]. The soldier on your left was “ROK One”, titular head of the ROK Platoon. He was later killed in action during an attack against the Chinese in February of 1951. Next in line was “ROK Tom” who survived the war. Third in line was “ROK LEE,” the platoon machine-gunner. Next was A ROK Mercy named “Toshi” because of his many Samurai attributes. He was later wounded during the battle at Euijeongbu January 1951."
