Bio

Robert “Bob” Hafler was born on April 13, 1933, in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. His commitment to his country was demonstrated through his service in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1953. Bob served as a heavy weapons instructor with Company H (Scranton), 2nd Battalion, 109th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, which was federalized in September 1950. His experiences during his service profoundly shaped his life and instilled in him a lasting sense of patriotic pride.
