Richard Edward Watchempino
Bio
Richard Edward Watchempino is a veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was drafted in California at the age of twenty-one. After his basic training, he underwent an extended two-month leadership training. He arrived at the front lines during the main line of resistance when the forces were preparing for a peace treaty. Unfortunately, he was wounded by friendly fire, which shortened his enlistment by two months. After the war, he continued his education and had a successful career as a graphic artist. He is currently an active member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
