Bio

John Pettipas was a part of the 58th Fighter Bomb Wing.  He became close to a Korean boy, Hwang Chang Hae, who helped him during the war.  Hwang Chang Hae was invited to come to the US to study at the Presbyterian Junior College in 1955.  After John Pettipas inquired about financial assistance for the boy, the junior college agreed to provide him with $235 dollars to put towards tuition.
