Bio

Edwin Alfred Pester left the UK for Korea in the winter of 1952 aboard the troopship Devonshire, as part of his National Service with the British Army. He served in Korea until late 1953, when he returned to the UK. Upon his return, he transferred to the South Lancashire Regiment, where he continued to serve until his discharge in 1957.
