Bio

1st Infantry Battalion during the Korean War, where he was responsible for communications. The Colombian Battalion was the only Latin American ground force to participate in the conflict, sending more than 4,300 soldiers between 1951 and 1954 in support of United Nations forces. After arriving in June 1951, the unit was attached to the U.S. 24th and 7th Divisions.
