Anthony DeBlasi

Bio

Anthony J. DeBlasi was born in New York. He was drafted into the US Army in early 1953 and trained as a radio repairman. He was deployed to Korea in 1953 and was attached to the 304th Signal Battalion, stationed near the village of Bupyong. He returned to the US in 1955 and worked at the Brooklyn Army Terminal radio repair shop. He wrote a book about his experiences in the Korean War called Korea: Back When (2007). Today, he lives in West Newfield, Maine.
