The Korean War Legacy Foundation is honored to partner with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the R.O.K to host the 2024 World Congress of Teachers Part II. In previous years one World Congress was held, and we are pleased to announce that the World Congress has become a semi-annual event. This year’s second event will be held concurrently with the National Council for the Social Studies Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. Dignitaries from the US and the Republic of Korea will join teachers from twenty-two United Nations countries that participated in the Korean War to share ideas on how the war and its legacy can be taught in the classroom. The World Congress is an opportunity to recognize the sacrifice of Korean War veterans and the importance of studying the War’s legacy in our schools. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend some of the general sessions at the NCSS conference which is expected to have 4500 participants.
The programs will include:
- Sessions from top scholars on the Korean War
- Sessions on curriculum books that have been completed in the US and UK, as well as new projects in New Zealand and Australia.

- Opportunities for sharing between participants from various countries
