Ronald Donn
Bio
Ronald Donn was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1931. After completing high school, he attended the Omaha Commercial Extension School of Commerce for 11 months. In 1950, he enlisted in the United States Navy, swearing in at Fort Omaha. His service lasted until October 1, 1954, during which he spent a total of nine months in Japan and Korea. While stationed stateside, he married his wife, Shirley. He chose to utilize the GI Bill to further his education and attended Iowa State Teacher College in Cedar Falls, where he studied physical education and safety.
