Kim Greer

Bio

Kim Greer is a middle school social studies teacher in Nevada, Missouri. She is a 2017 Teacher Fellow of the Korean War Legacy Foundation. She explains how to bring the Korean War into your classroom. The Korean War is generally specified within the larger Cold War conflict by many state standards. Moreover, at the middle school level, the Korean War might not even be in the standards. However, Kim Greer can bring this under-represented war into her curriculum by building on much-needed historical thinking skills. She has developed a lesson that requires students to conduct Korean War veteran interviews.
