Bio
Loannis Farazakis discusses knowing nothing about Korea before arriving there. With the help of a translator, he shares details about his experience on the front lines against North Korea. He explains scenes of activity he experienced during his time in Korea. While receiving enemy fire, he was hit by shrapnel and suffered from a minor head wound. He shares his pride in taking part in South Korea’s independence and is impressed by the economic growth Korea has achieved.
