Bio
Sergeant Paul Marsa was an Infantry Marine who spent 13 months on the main line of resistance, fighting Chinese forces from 1952 to 1953 until the truce was signed. Paul served in “G” Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment, 1st Marine Division. He was wounded during the 1953 Chinese spring offensive but returned to action at Forward Observation Post Dagmar on the Jamestown Line. For his bravery during the offensive, he was awarded the Purple Heart.
