Bio

James H. Perdue Jr. was born in Roanoke, Virginia. He proudly served in the 25th Infantry Division and attained the rank of Master Sergeant during the Korean War. Following his military service, James attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, on the GI Bill. There, he met his future wife, and together they raised four children.

James built a diverse career working in banking, leasing, and eventually real estate. He was also an active member of his church in Memphis, Tennessee, serving as a deacon.
