Bio

Doyle Coker was born on January 18, 1929, to Daniel Lafayette Coker and Josephine Pinner in Winter Haven, Florida, joining 13 siblings.  After growing up in Winter Haven, Doyle enlisted in the Air Force in 1954 and served six years, including combat in the Korean War. Doyle married Alice Louise Garrison on December 8, 1949, in Houston, Texas, and together they had four daughters and two sons. He retired in Gosnell, Arkansas, home of the Blytheville Air Force Base, later known as Eaker Air Force Base. After living a fulfilled life, Doyle departed this Earth on June 7, 1993, at his home in Gosnell.
